Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born on 16 April 1996 in Miami Florida. A half English as well as Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine of Scottish and English descent. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English descent. Taylor-Joy was born into a household of six children. Four of her siblings are of the marriage that she had with Taylor's dad. The family lived in Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria part in London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos aires to Victoria was difficult, and she was not able to study English and was hoping to go home to Argentina. She had to switch schools from Northlands to Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school plays. When she was 16, she quit school in order to pursue acting as a career. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to become an actress and her dream came true when she was given the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
