Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former Banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish and English ancestry. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish and English. Taylor-Joy was born into a family of six children. Four are her siblings of the marriage that she had with Taylor's father. The family was at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy explained that the move had been painful, and she refused to pursue a degree in English as she wanted to return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after she left Northlands. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in productions of the school. At 16, she left the school to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy had a destiny to become an actor from a young age. She realized her dream when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
