Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. His father was an Argentine with Scottish and English heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. After living within Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. Taylor-Joy stated she was traumatic, and refused to go back to school in English because she hoped to go back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after switching from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in school productions. At 16, she left school in order to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actress from a very young age. Her dreams were realized when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
