Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on the 16th of April 1996 in Miami Florida. The daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former bank executive, as well as Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father, an Argentinean of Scottish and English heritage is her mother. Her mother has Spanish and English heritage. She was the first born of a clan of six children. Four of her siblings are of the marriage that she had with Taylor's father. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, after which the family relocated from the city of Victoria within London. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was very traumatic. She was not willing to study English and believed she would be able to move back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she changed schools from Northlands. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. When she was 16, she quit the school to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an actor started at a young, age. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first person to hire her as an experienced model.
