Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Half English as well as Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. She is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. The family was in Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria region of London. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was extremely stressful. Taylor Joy was unable to master English and hoped she could return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after switching from Northlands. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. When she reached the age of sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to concentrate on her acting career. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to work as an actress. her dreams came true when she was given an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
