Addison Rae is an American social media celebrity who is a singer, dancer and actress. She is best known for performing lip-sync or dance videos on her famous TikTok account called addisonre. Forbes magazine announced that Addison Rae had the highest earnings on TikTok in the month of August, 2020. In addition, she is among the most followed people on TikTok. Addison Rae's popularity on TikTok is extended beyond TikTok to other platforms, including Instagram, YouTube and Twitter. She made her debut as performer when she dropped Obsessed, her debut single in 2021. The track peaked at number 4 on the New Zealand Hot Singles chart and was the sixth most popular video on YouTube on the day of its release. Addison Rae has also received nominations at prestigious ceremonies such as People's Choice Awards MTV Movie & TV Awards and Kids Choice Awards.
