Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl is a famous American actor, comedian and TV presenter and best-known for hosting the popular daytime chat show The Talk. Born in Arkansas she was raised at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes out of a very troubled background. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from her own illness called Polio. As a teenager, she had many problems with her mother. Sheryl claims that for instance when her mother stabbed her father when he became too close to Her. Sheryl joined the military after her college graduation. However, her interests lay in comedy. She was the only female who made it to the 1989 contest Miller Lite Comedy Search. She started her TV career after becoming a frequent performer at The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She hosted the show in 2000. The show Oh Drama! Since 2011, she has been being a co-host for the talk show The Talk. In addition she has also been in fictional roles on shows like Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
