In 2017, he changed his name by changing it from Mike Towers to Myke Towers as a tribute to the music movement Young Kingz of which he is a member changing the i to a y first letter of the movement's name. Myke towers is an Puerto Rico underground rapper who started in his teens. He uploaded his freestyles along with his songs on his SoundCloud. His songs from 2014 Dia de cobro Por Mi Es Normal as well as En los Bloques made him famous. Additionally his La Nueva Droga rap and Drake's 0 To 100 song attracted the attention of the urban music community.
