Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician from England. He was part of One Direction. He is the child of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on January 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There, along with three schoolmates, he founded his own group, White Eskimo. Their outstanding performances allowed them to win their first Battle of Bands 2009. Though he's been fascinated by music, he also hoping to be an attorney or an physiotherapist. Working part-time in a local bakery was his first opportunity in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010, and did Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He was selected. It was for this reason that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles join a band called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. The formation of the group took place in the year 2010. The five young people were funded by Simon Cowell. The band performed songs like My Life Would Suffer Without You, by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the candidates for the award. However, they came in third behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell didn't take home the prize. However, Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
