Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British music producer and musician and. Harry Styles was one among the founders of One Direction. Born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. There along with three fellow students, he created his musical group, White Eskimo. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to a stellar performance, the band also took part in the Battle of Bands 2010. Even though he had always expressed an interest in the music world, despite his passion for it he wanted also to pursue a career as a lawyer and physiotherapist. In order to support the family he worked a short time working part-time in a bakery. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he sang Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The reason for this is that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part of a new group named One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. The group was backed by Cowell, and they performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were one of the most competitive groups in the contest. The band was in the third place just behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who took home the prize. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell had paid 2,000,000 pounds in a contract for One Direction.
