Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on 28 October 1967, in Atlanta. Roberts is fourth in the Roberts generation to reside in Atlanta starting with her grandfather who was a farmer, John Pendleton Roberts. Early on, her father was interested in theatre. As a student in Emory University he appeared in numerous productions on and off the campus. In 1953, he joined the Air Force, and was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he appeared in a play together with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. They got married in 1957. Walter went to Tulane University at New Orleans, Louisiana in 1957 after they had separated from the Air Force of the United States. In 1960, the family relocated into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of the local Sunday morning show for children, Bum Bum and His Buddies. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou founded their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. It ran for 6 years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) as well as Julia (also called Julie) at the time.
