Anita Sarkeesian has been a Canadian and American feminist media critic for more than 20 years. She's well-known as a public speaking. She founded Feminist Frequency which is a website which features video and posts on the representations of women in popular culture. Anita Sarkeesian, a Canadian-American media critic and blog writer who has been awarded accolades for her work. She is an activist blogger. Feminist Frequency is an educational site for non-profit organizations that explores the representations of females in narratives from popular culture. Committed to deconstructing the stereotypes associated with women in pop culture, she seeks to bring attention to harassment targeted at women and the other marginalized groups of people in the online environment. Sarkeesian, who has an MA in Social and Political thought at York University, is a well-known public speakers. She has spoken at the TEDxWomen festival as well as United Nations Broadband Working Group for Gender. Feminist Frequency was launched on the 9th of September 2009 by Sarkeesian. a University student who has been interested in issues related to gender and feminism for quite a long period of. She had a plan to launch an internet series that examined the role of gender in games and was then the victim of an online campaign to harass her. It was not enough to deter her. Instead, it made her more committed to be a feminist as well as media critic. Her notable contributions to the feminist field are recognized with numerous awards. Anita Sarkeesian is an award nominated media critic as well as the creator of Feminist Frequency an educational non-profit focused on the portrayal of women in popular cultural and the narratives that surround them.
